France Design Studio was founded by Nicole France in the fall of 2017. Prior to that Nicole worked for 18 years on the Product Design and Development team at Target. From product design and trend forecasting to brand development, visual merchandising and product strategy she had her fingers in everything. She directed design teams in intimates, sleepwear, jewelry, accessories, shoes, soft home and outdoor living. Through her 20+ years in the consumer products industry she has designed everything from bath furniture, camp chairs and televisions to lighting, kids furniture and home decor.

She is passionate about design, art, interiors, fashion, while also balancing being a busy mother of twins. Her years of experience in design and design leadership for the home and apparel industries always has her on the hunt for what's new. She loves traveling the world to find inspiration but also loves discovering those new ideas in her own backyard. She has a proven ability to drive style credibility through a deep knowledge of trend, product development, technical quality and vendor capabilities. While she has led product development teams in multiple $1B+ businesses throughout home, apparel and accessories, driven huge brand launches and reinvented in store presentations, she also loves digging into the details and beauty in a singular item.
